Elwood was a swamp! - just like Bayswater was.
The soil report came back as 'poor'. I feel like my child came home with a bad report card! It just means they'll need to dig deeper foundations basically. There are all these recommendations with codes that I have no clue what they mean, except that they'll need to do more than the standard for footings and foundations. Which probably equates to more expense. Great.
Oh the power is finally on. So we'll go down to the house and make sure everything's working: oven, dishwasher, heaters etc.
But I think we'll move in. How bad could it be?
